The true tale of how Bihar's most dangerous criminal was apprehended serves as the basis for Neeraj Pandey's upcoming cop-drama Khakee: The Bihar Chapter. The crime series' teaser was released by Netflix India on Friday, October 28. It depicts the epic struggle between two law-abiding men, one a feared gang leader and the other an honourable cop.Amit Lodha, an IPS officer from Bihar, was placed on administrative leave following an investigation into allegations of corruption and engaging into a business deal with Netflix while holding a government position. After Khakee: The Bihar Chapter by Neeraj Pandey was made available on Netflix on November 25, Lodha gained notoriety.
According to a statement obtained by news agency ANI, Lodha has been charged with using his position as an IPS officer for financial advantage by negotiating a contract with the US-based streaming service for a deal with production company Friday Storytellers. It went on to say that charges of corruption were confirmed to be true as a result of the probe.Khakee: The Bihar Chapter is a crime drama that centres on Sheikhpura IPS Amit Lodha and his attempts to prosecute the Ashok Mahto gang. For many years, the Ashok Mahto gang has been operating in Sheikhpura and Nalanda. Key parts in the critically acclaimed series are played by Karan Tacker, Avinash Tiwary, Abhimanyu Singh, Ravi Kishan, Nikita Dutta, Ashutosh Rana, Shraddha Das, and Jatin Sarna.
